It’s been a while since I last wrote about Michael Jackson in the world of art.
Recently, I discovered an incredibly talented cake artist, which might leave you wondering—what’s the connection between art, cakes, and Michael Jackson?
We often overlook that food itself is an art form—hence the term culinary arts. Across the world, there are countless chefs and bakers creating edible masterpieces. Today, I want to introduce you to Judit Czethoffer, a Hungarian cake artist from Budapest who has brought her business, Book A Cake, to London.
I first came across Judit’s work at an event where she was tasked with creating a cake that looked like an apple. And let me tell you—it didn’t just resemble an apple; it was a flawless replica. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to taste it. After all, cake design is one thing, but if the flavor doesn’t match the artistry, it loses its purpose.
Judit, however, exceeded expectations. She later surprised us by sending over a selection of cakes, including one that featured an image of Michael Jackson, along with a signature glove and fedora. And Let me tell you (Gordon Ramsay style), it was amazing. A rich, indulgent chocolate brownie cake that tasted just as incredible as it looked.
Judit’s talent for cake artistry is truly remarkable. Not only do her creations look stunning, but they also taste phenomenal. Below, you’ll find some of her impressive edible artwork.
We were so impressed by her work (and, let’s be honest, completely won over by her cakes) that we asked her to create something special for Kingvention. Check it out:
If you’re in London and have a special occasion coming up—a birthday, anniversary, or any celebration—don’t hesitate to reach out to Judit at Book a cake. Her cakes are not just desserts; they’re works of art.
